Getting Involved

Each fall, Lion Fund accepts new applicants. The application process involves a written application and two rounds of interviews. We look for candidates that have an interest in investing and a strong desire to learn. No prior experience is necessary: while real world experience is certainly a plus, we recognize that many students do not have exposure to the financial services industry. As such, Lion Fund accepts many students without prior investment experience or knowledge. Naturally, the process is competitive: each year we accept about ~10 applicants from pool of over 300, and we encourage all current Columbia or Barnard students to apply. Please contact our board members, Isabella Souza (is2700@columbia.edu), Peter Staphos (pts2122@columbia.edu), and Madeline Feldner (mef2238@columbia.edu) if you have any questions about the process. If you would like to be updated on the application process make sure to follow us on Facebook at facebook.com/lionfund.
